Evaluation of 2,534 Tourism Companies Conducted to Strengthen the Tourism Sector
To strengthen the tourism sector, the Deputy Ministry for Tourism, Finance and Administrative Affairs of the Ministry of Information and Culture has evaluated the operations of approximately 2,534 tourism companies nationwide during the current year.
This evaluation thoroughly assessed the quality of services provided by these companies, their conduct and interaction with tourists, full compliance with tourism laws and regulations, the proper use of licenses, and other related matters.
Officials of the Deputy Ministry for Tourism, Finance, and Administrative Affairs have issued serious warnings to the owners of tourism companies, emphasizing that any misuse of licenses—particularly in connection with human trafficking—will result in the revocation of the license and referral of the offenders to judicial and legal authorities. Accordingly, all owners of tourism, pilgrimage, and medical travel companies are strictly urged to refrain from any misuse of their licenses.
The Ministry of Information and Culture considers the regulation of tourism, pilgrimage, and medical travel companies among its key priorities. Notable efforts by the Ministry include facilitating the licensing process for companies, establishing a unified association at both the national and provincial levels, and ensuring that these companies' operations comply with the law.
