The Department of Information and Culture of Herat Province appreciated (TIKA) Agency

Yesterday, the Department of Information and Culture honored (TIKA) Agency during the cultural services ceremony of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency.
Alhaji Maulvi Ahmadullah Motaqi, Director of Information and Culture of Herat Province, appreciated the cooperation of (TIKA) Agency in the areas of restoration of historical monuments, support for artists, cultural activities and cooperation in the field of tourists.
Mr. Motaqi said: “(TIKA) Agency is expected to cooperate with this department in the future in the restoration of historical monuments and cultural activities.”
Dr. Arafat Deniz,  Director of the Cooperation and Coordination Agency of the Republic of Turkey (TIKA), said: “Tourism is a sector that is a non-polluting industry; The potential of tourism, natural landscapes, and historical sites of Afghanistan is high, we must have plans in increasing tourism, raising the capacity of tourism, and introducing this country.” He assured of all-round cooperation with Department of Information and Culture of Herat Province.
It should be remembered that the Office of the Cooperation and Coordination Agency of the Republic of Turkey organized 140 booths to display the works of artists in celebration of World Tourism Day.
