The Department of Information and Culture of Baghlan Province has started the process of visiting and monitoring the available government and private courses in this province in order to promote reading.
Maulvi Izat Mir Haqqani, Manager of Culture and Tourism of the Department of Information and Culture of Baghlan province, says: “In this province, we have started the process of visiting private and government courses in order to encourage young people to study and read books.” Meanwhile, he encourages the new youth to read the published Emirati weekly, newspapers, academic, religious and cultural books.
Haqqani added; “In this process of visits, the Youth Management of the Department of Information and Culture visited the free courses of Pashto, computer, mathematics, English, speech art and also the free educational courses of Afghan Red Crescent, where the youth were also encouraged to learn, study and read books.”
Najib and Anwar, two students of the course, say that they have become interested in reading and studying books and are trying to study in their free time and enrich their academic and intellectual abilities.
