The Delegation of the Ministry of Information and Culture visited the Historical Sites during their visit to Ghazni

  Yesterday, a four-member delegation from the Department of Historical Heritage Protection of the Ministry of Information and Culture, led by the Acting Director of Historical Heritage Protection, Engineer Hasibullah Nasimi, visited Ghazni Province to survey and evaluate the historical sites which needs to be restored.
Engineer Hasibullah Naseemi, Acting Director of Historical Heritage Protection of the Ministry of Information and Culture, says that the historical reservoirs of Ghazni which have been damaged and are under the threat of collapse will be surveyed in order to  protect and restore.
Mr. Nasimi adds that UNESCO has promised them to help in the restoration cost of the historical monuments and sites of the country that need to be restored.
The said delegation visited Ghazni Province while the officials of the Department of Information and Culture of this province said that due to the recent earthquake, a number of historical reservoirs of Ghazni have been damaged and are in danger of collapsing.
