The Cultural Delegation of the Department of Information and Culture visited the Historical and Tourist areas of Jaghatu District

Yesterday, on the recommendation of the Director of Information and Culture of Maidan Wardak province, Maulvi Habibullah Mujahid, a cultural delegation visited Jaghatu district of this province to inspect the historic and tourist areas.
The delegation, headed by Culture and Tourism Manager Mr. Shafiqullah Fazli, visited the Sultan Band tourist area of the respective district, Chel Gazi Ziarat, Gagi Bibi Tighi and Ghazi Mohammad Jan Khan Wardak's house.
Sultan Dam is a popular tourist destination and many tourists visit it throughout the year, but recently it has been emptied of water, its walls have been cracked and almost filled with mud and dirt.
In this regard, Maulvi Habibullah Mujahid, Director of Information and Culture, says: “Sultan Band, which was first built hundreds of years ago during the reign of Sultan Mahmud of Ghaznavi, is considered an excellent area for tourists.”
Mr. Mujahid added; “The Ministry of Information and Culture has a special plan to restore such tourist areas and wants the rich people of Maidan Wardak province to invest in this area.”
