A Coordination Meeting was held with Media Officials and Reporters in Helmand Province

Thursday (14th of March, 2024) the monthly coordination meeting with media officials and journalists was held in the meeting hall of the Department of Information and Culture of Helmand province, under the chairmanship of the Manager of Information Maulvi Sher Muhammad Wahdat.
 The Manager of Information, Mr. Wahdat, told the participants of the meeting: “The purpose of our monthly meetings is to share problems and coordinate with each other, so that there is no problem in making news for the media and we can continue our activities normally.”
Also, he discussed every aspect of (24th of Hut 1357) when the ethnic people of Herat province revolted against the oppression of the communist regime and later 24,000 people were martyred by them. Calling it important, so that reports can be made and broadcast on such historical days, he asked journalists for information about the inactive media, so that the Department of Information and Culture of Helmand province can assist him in reactivating them.
A number of journalists and media officials expressed their satisfaction with the Department of Information and Culture and said: “Through these monthly meetings, our problems have been solved and the gap between us and the government has disappeared.” They assured the officials of full cooperation and said: “We will give priority to national interests over personal interests.”
