A coordination meeting was held with journalists and media officials in Balkh province

On Sunday (23 Dhu al-Hijjah 1445), the journalists' protection committee, government department spokespersons, journalists, media authorities, and officials from Balkh province's information and culture department attended a coordination meeting.

 Maulvi Zabihullah Noorani, the director of information and culture in Balkh province, said: that an effective environment has been provided to journalists.
All journalists should strive to carry out responsible media operations according to the Islamic Emirate's policies and create trust between the people and the government. 

He also stated that the government is working to assist the media in a variety of scenarios so that the press has total freedom. Mr. Noorani continued, saying that there have been no problems in the media sector and that media activity is continuing in a better fashion through the collaboration and coordination of government spokespersons and media authorities.

The head of the Committee for the Protection of Journalists in the North Zone, Abdul Latif Sohak, praised the Department of Information and Culture's efforts to assist the media at the same time as he called for timely access to information and cooperation between government spokespersons, the media, and journalists.
Spokespersons of government departments said they support journalists and media officials in all aspects, and they will not spare any kind of effort in the field of access to information.
