A Coordination Meeting Between the Media and the Government was held at the Paktia Information and Culture Department

Today, Sunday 2022/2/19, a joint coordination meeting was held between media representatives and media representatives of governmental agencies at Paktia Information and Culture Department.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Director of information and Culture, Qazi Sawab Jan Islam Yar, emphasized the coordination between the media and government agencies, and said that Islamic Emirate in accordance with Islamic values and Afghan Culture, is committed to and supports the freedom of media, speech and human rights. He told the media representatives that Islamic Emirate have had positive achievements in different fields, they should try to send good positive messages to people through their media.
Pajhwok reporter Sahil Mangal, who is in charge of the Provincial Committee for Safety of Journalists and Media, said that such meetings are important for the access to information between the government and the media.
Later, the Manager of Information, Niazullah Aseel Zazai, in his speech, emphasized on coordination between the media and the government agencies and added that the Islamic Emirate is working to solve the problems of the media and in order to solve such problems, it is necessary to have coordination meetings from time to time.
At the end of the meeting, a free discussion was held between representatives of different media, journalists and spokespersons and officials of government agencies to solve coordination problems, while their needs and demands were heard.
