Cooperation Agreement Signed Between the Deputy Ministry of Youth Affairs and WCC
A cooperation agreement was signed between the acting Deputy Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Ministry of Information and Culture and WCC.
Acting Deputy Minister for Youth Affairs, Mawlawi Sayed Mohammad Saeed, stated that the Deputy Ministry has organized numerous training programs for youth. Expressing appreciation for WCC’s cooperation, Mr. Saeed emphasized that providing services to youth is a shared responsibility of all stakeholders and that further efforts must be made in this regard. He stressed the need to expand skills development initiatives, intellectual reform programs, and educational and training opportunities for youth.
Mohammad Hamed, Deputy Director of WCC, stated that the organization currently operates youth centers in Kabul and Balkh provinces, offering services in health, counseling, alternative livelihoods and entrepreneurship, job creation, freelancing, life skills development, and volunteer activities. He noted that a significant number of young people have completed training at these centers and are now actively engaged in serving their communities.
The Deputy Director of the organization reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to continued cooperation with the Deputy Ministry of Youth Affairs and expressed readiness to further enhance opportunities for youth employment and education.
