Commission for the Reform of Signboards and Advertising Conducts Monitoring in Kabul’s Fourth District
The Commission for the Reform of Signboards and Advertising recently conducted an assessment of signboards and advertising materials along Gul Foroshi Alley (Flowers Street) in the Shahr-e-Naw area of Kabul’s Fourth District.
At the beginning of this monitoring and reform process, discussions were held with media representatives and relevant guilds to emphasize the significance of the area, as well as to explain the procedures and mechanisms for the reform and oversight of signboards and advertising.
For non-standard signboards and advertising materials, the Commission's professional members suggested alternatives in the country’s national languages and provided corrective recommendations for specific cases.
It is important to note that during this process, more than 193 signboards and advertising materials were assessed and reformed.
