Book Week was celebrated in few Provinces of the Country

Yesterday, Book Week was celebrated in Jawzjan, Faryab and Saripul provinces by the Departments of Information and Culture during a series of special ceremonies.
During Book Week ceremony in Jawzjan province, the Department of Information and Culture, in cooperation with the Departments of Irshad, Hajj, Endowments and Education, distributed 1,000 books, including 500 volumes of the Holy Quran, to the inmates of Jawzjan Prison for the purpose of recitation and study.
Likewise, the Department of Information and Culture in Faryab province organized a book exhibition for the celebration of the Book Week and during the opening of the exhibition, the finishing of the Holy Quran was performed on the 7th anniversary of Amir ul Momineen martyr Mullah Akhtar Muhammad Mansour.
The Governor of Faryab, Mullah Muhammad Shoaib Risalat, gave information about the life of Ameer ul Momineen Martyr Mullah Akhtar Muhammad Mansour and his services to the Islamic Emirate while asking the citizens and the youth to consider the safe atmosphere as an opportunity, start studying and enrich yourself with knowledge.
  Also, the Department of Information and Culture of Saripul province celebrated the book week in a meeting in the public library. In which the government officials and employees, as well as poets, and youth participated.
The participants of the meeting talked about the value of books and study and requested the youth to devote more of their time to study.
