Baghlan Has Provided Suitable Working Conditions for Journalists
Mr. Abdul Qadim Wayar, the Director of the Afghan Journalists' Safety Committee, praised these statements at the coordination meeting between the government and the media in Baghlan on Monday through which access to information has increased.
Wayar emphasized that short-term and long-term programs are being planned to increase the capacity of journalists in Baghlan, which journalists will benefit from soon.
In this meeting, the Director of Information and Culture of Baghlan, Mawlawi Asadullah Mustafa Hashemi, said that despite the economic challenges, Baghlan's journalists continue to work in short-term training and capacity building programs in the field of journalism. There is a need for supporting organizations of journalists to understand this need and fill the gap of lack of seminars.
At the same time, Haris Siyar, Head of Tanweer Media Group, says that the Islamic Emirate should coordinate with the supporting organizations of journalists to understand the economic and work challenges of journalists and the media and take necessary measures in order to solve them.
