On Wednesday (18th of Muharram 1446), Minister of Information and Culture Mullah Khairullah Khairkhah, in the opening ceremony of the practical extracting of the Mes Ayink Mine in Mohammad Agha district of Logar, called the start of the practical extracting and processing a proud moment for Afghanistan.

mr. Khairkhah assured that the ancient relics would be extracted safely.

In the opening ceremony of the said project, the Minister of Information and Culture added, We are grateful for the efforts of all stakeholders to protect the historical monuments.

 For the preservation of historical monuments, the digging process starts from one side to the core of the earth to preserve the historical relics. The preservation of the historical relics and mining were complex tasks at the same time, which were managed, solved, and started by implementing a strong plan with the coordination of the stakeholders. The practical start of the Mes Aynak project would facilitate the startup of other projects at this time.

He also requested the involved stakeholders to take effective steps according to the plan for the protection of the artifacts.
