The Annual Traditional Poetry Festival (Mushaira) Named “Samsoor Laghman” was Held

Yesterday, a traditional annual poetry festival called "Samsoor Laghman" was held by the Department of Information and Culture of Laghman along the Alingar River.
The event was attended by Maulvi Atiqullah Azizi, Deputy Minister of Art and Culture of the Ministry of Information and Culture, officials of Laghman provincial administration, officials of the Department of Information and Culture, cultural figures, poets, journalists and many other people.
In the beginning, the Director of Information and Culture, Maulvi Abdul Noor Rasooli, while welcoming all the guests of Poetic Festival (Mushaira), said that he is happy that the land of knowledge and culture, the home of Ghazis and heroes of Jihad, is hosting the poets today, on the other hand, he thanked the elders and youth who have helped them in the organization of this Poetic Festival (Mushaira).
Rasooli also said that Laghman is one of the provinces of Afghanistan where the series of conquests began and now there is an Islamic system in the whole country. He asked all the poets to make poems for the existence of the Islamic system so that other than the love for the country, the national interests are seen.
 
In this (Mushaira), Deputy Minister of Culture and Art of the Ministry of Information and Culture Maulvi Atiqullah Azizi said in his speech that such poetic festivals (Mushairas) have a positive role in the intellectual training of young people and have the status of a school, because it helps in training and awakening of the new generation. 
In addition to Laghman Department of Information and Culture, he thanked the noble leaders and youths of other areas of Alingar for their cooperation in making the festival in such a good environment. The waves of the Alingar river is a beautiful place for poetry.

The Poetic Festival (Mushaira) continued until midnight, where different poets read their poems till then.
