Acting Minister of Information and Culture: “Protection of Cultural Heritage is our Priority”

Tuesday (5th March, 2024), the Acting Minister of the Ministry of Information and Culture, Mr. Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwah met with the new President of Mis Aynak Mining Contracting Company (MCC) in his office.
In the beginning, the Acting Minister of the Ministry of Information and Culture Mr. Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwah spoke about the importance of cultural heritage, and he called the protection of cultural heritage a priority of the ministry.
Later, the President of the (MCC) company said in his speech: “We are trying to carry out the excavation works of Mis Aynak Mine in such a way that the cultural and historical monuments are not damaged,” he requested for cooperation from the Ministry. 
The Acting Minister of the Ministry of Information and Culture Mr. Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwah assured all cooperation in the excavation of Mis Aynak mine and added that historical monuments do not belong to one country, but their protection is the duty of all nations.
