An Academic and Cultural Seminar was Opened in Honor of Famous Singers and Poets

Today, Sunday (2023/12/31), a three-day academic and cultural seminar was opened in honor of famous singers and poets of the country at Safi Landmark Restaurant in Kabul province.
Acting Minister of Information and Culture Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwah, Deputy Minister of Culture and Art Atiqullah Azizi, Deputy Minister of Higher Education Dr. Lutfullah Khairkhwah, Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration of the Ministry of Education Maulvi Sibghatullah Wasil, Director of Taranum Departmentof the Ministry of Information and Culture, Maulvi Amanullah Mustaghfir, and famous singers and poets of the country participated.
The Acting Minister of the Ministry of Information and Culture Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwah said in his speech: “Poets and singers aroused the feelings of youth during the 20-year occupation and in defense of their religion, Islam and country, they gave the youth the feeling of freedom of the country. Poets should know what their responsibility is during the occupation, and  what their responsibility is now. Poets should fulfill their responsibility, they should not direct Jihad to one class. Everyone was involved in this Jihad, we have created this seminar to use their talents. They should serve according to their abilities. Our responsibility and all of you is to maintain the Islamic system, so, there should be a connection between us and these friends, we should have people of different categories, the goal of all of us should be reform, we should gather all the singers and poets, these people (singers and poets) are the status of a language in a society, if your equipment is not adequate, you should contact us so that we can provide you with equipment and facilities. These poems and rhymes are good material for the new generation to listen to. Let's try to make this a reason for the reform the society, all those people who are skilled in poetry, writing and essay writing should be in contact with us.”
