The Professional Delegation of the Department of Archeology of the Ministry of Information and Culture has surveyed and registered 22 ancient and historical sites in 8 districts, including the center of Badakhshan Province, of which 15 ancient and historical sites have been newly identified.
It is worth noting that these ancient regions belong to the Islamic and pre-Islamic periods.
