“Historical Monuments are the source of the Country's Identity”

Mullah Khairullah Khairkhawh, Acting Minister of the Ministry of Information and Culture, said during a meeting with the Director of Information and Culture of Badakhshan province said; “Historical monuments are the source of the country's identity.”
Yesterday, Director of Information and Culture of Badakhshan Province, Alhaj Moazaluddin Ahmadi, met the Acting Minister of the Ministry of Information and Culture, Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwah, in order to protect and prevent smuggling of historical relics.
Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwah said: “The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan pays full attention to the protection of historical monuments and takes serious action against people who smuggle historical relics and dig up on theirselves.” 
Director of Information and Culture of Badakhshan province, Alhaj Moazaluddin Ahmadi, said: “Badakhshan is one of the ancient provinces of the country with a 5000-year history. Excavating requires professional people to handle it with full care and in a professional manner.”
He also shared information about the discovery of 17 ancient monuments in Badakhshan province and assured Acting Minister Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwah that the officials of the Department of Information and Culture of Badakhshan province are acting responsibly in protecting ancient monuments and monuments. He added that due to the existence of smugglers and the lack of security guards in the borders of Badakhshan province, there is a possibility that the smugglers of historical relics will smuggle the said relics with confidence.
    The Acting Ministry of Information and Culture is talking about the protection of antiquities and areas at a time when after the coming to power of Islamic Emirate, several smugglers of antiquities have been arrested by the Emirati forces while smuggling in the borders.
