“In Nangarhar Province, we pay special attention to Historical Monuments and Ancient Areas”

This statement was made by the Director of Information and Culture of Nangarhar Province Maulvi Noor Muhammad Hanif in a meeting with university teachers and some cultural figures and he added that the Ministry of Information and Culture is considering to repair some historical monuments in Nangarhar and to create a special mechanism for the protection of ancient areas.
According to Mr. Hanif, during the last American occupation, the mother of the bomb of the invaders were tested in Achin district and this area will be recorded in the pages of history, as well as special plans to repair Memle Bagh and Wazir Muhammad Gul Khan Momand fort has been prepared and will be sent to the Ministry for execution.
