Deputy Minister of Art and Culture of the Ministry of Information and Culture met with the Deputy Governor of Paktia province

Yesterday, Deputy Minister of Arts and Culture of the Ministry of Information and Culture, Atiqullah Azizi, during his visit to Paktia, met with the Deputy Governor of this province, Maulvi Inamullah Salahuddin, in his office, during which the Director of Information and Culture of Paktia, Qazi Sawab Jan Islam Yar, the Director of the Provincial Office and the officials of some other institutions were present.
At the beginning, the Deputy Governor welcomed the Deputy Minister of Arts and Culture of the Ministry of Information and Culture and assured about the good performance of artistic activities in this province and added that in terms of the development of artistic activities in Paktia, considerable work has been done.
Later, Moulavi Atiqullah Azizi, Deputy Minister of Arts and Culture of the Ministry of Information and Culture, said in his speech that he is planning to hold meetings with Paktia's cultural figures, writers, Naat reciters and poets, and listen to their requests in order to strengthen Art, Literature and Culture in this province. He added that Islamic Emirate has paid special attention to the protection of historical places and significant efforts will be made in the protection and restoration of the historical Balahisar of Paktia province. Mr. Azizi also explained that special attention will be paid to the development of tourist areas in Paktia and necessary facilities will be created in these areas.
