Public Awareness campaign on Decree No. 17 Held in Logar
On 18 Rabi’ al-Thani 1448 AH The Ministry of Information and Culture has distributed informational materials and installed dozens of banners in Logar Province as part of an ongoing public awareness campaign on Decree No. 17 issued by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate.
The materials, prepared to raise awareness about the decree and promote efforts to address harmful social practices, included brochures, booklets, pens and other printed materials. The campaign was carried out among residents of the province as part of the Ministry’s broader cultural awareness programmes.
The initiative also included discussions with local residents on the significance of Decree No. 17, its role in addressing harmful social practices, and the importance of public awareness in promoting authentic cultural values. Participants were given an opportunity to share their views and suggestions.
Residents welcomed the initiative and called for the awareness programmes to be continued and expanded. They described such efforts as useful in addressing harmful customs and strengthening authentic social and cultural values.
Officials of the Logar Directorate of Information and Culture said that increasing public understanding of the decree and maintaining dialogue with different segments of society were important measures for improving awareness of harmful social practices and promoting authentic social and cultural values.
