A two-day Workshop for Journalists Was Opened

Today, Wednesday (2023/8/2), the Director of Information and Culture of Nangarhar Province, Maulvi Noor Muhammad Hanif, with the financial support of Salam Afghanistan News Network, opened a two-day workshop to improve the capacity of journalists in the said province. During the opening speech, Mr. Hanif said; Nangarhar Department of Information and Culture held various meetings with the media partners, and the access to information for journalists, coordination with the security agencies, with the spokespersons, chiefs and security officers of the provincial agencies in order to ease the access the information and not face difficulties in the security areas.
Information Manager, Mr. Qureshi said to the workshop participants: "The media is a force in the world, this force must fulfill its responsibility for the population of the country in order to enlighten their minds and to prevent international propaganda.”
It is worth noting that there are 21 media outlets in Nangarhar, in which around 100 people are working, and facilities have been provided to them in all areas.
