A Ceremony Was Held In Kandahar To Honor the Cultural Services Of The Poet Haji Abdul Sattar Hirani

Today, Monday (2023/9/4), a ceremony was held in honor of the literary and cultural services of the poet Haji Abdul Sattar Hirani by the Department of Information and Culture of Kandahar Province.
The ceremony was attended by scholars, poets, writers and youth.
In the beginning, Maulvi Inamullah Samangani, the Director of Information and Culture of the said province, talked about the Islamic and historical value of literature and poetry and added that, for the spiritual reform and improvement of the society, literature is a necessity, thoughtful writers should be praised, so that the new generation can be influenced and turn to literature.
Mr. Samangani asked writers and authors to work on Islamic and moral values and fulfill their responsibility in building positive thoughts.
After that, Ustad Ahmed Khatiri read the biography of Haji Abdul Sattar Hirani and said; “Mr. Hirani was born in 1323 AH. He has seven collections of poetry, and currently live in Maiwand district.”
Likewise, Haji Abdul Sattar Hirani thanked the officials of the Department of Information and Culture in his speech.
At the end of the meeting, the officials of the Department of Information and Culture gave appreciation letter and various gifts to Mr. Hirani.
