Afghanistan won the 3rd and 4th positions in the International Recitation (Hosni Qi Rat) Competition.

In the 9th International Competition of Memorization (Hifzi Quran) and Good Recitation (Hosni Qi rat) of the holy Quran in Turkey, the participants representing the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan won the third and fourth positions. With the efforts of the cultural attaché of the Ministry of Information and Culture, the two competitors were appreciated at the embassy.
This competition takes place annually in Turkey and involves approximately fifty Islamic countries. Qari Abdul Rab Ayubi secured third place in the Hosni Qirat category, while Qari Shafiq Amini achieved fourth place in the memorization (Hifz) of the Holy Quran.
With the efforts of the Ministry of Information and Culture Attaché in Ankara, Turkey, the A.A.A. embassy recognized two Hafiz who brought pride to the country by achieving third and fourth places among competitors from fifty countries. They were honored with both material and spiritual gifts.
