A Visit Was Made To Review The Works In The Ancient Area Of Mis Aynak Mine
The Director of Information and Culture of Logar Province Rafiullah Samim, along with the Manager of Culture and Tourism Muhammad Gul Tasal and the Manager of Archeology Abdul Shakur Mohammadi, made a visit in order to review the current affairs in the ancient area of Mis Aynak mine and observe the local museum in the area.
Mohammad Mubin Akbari, one of the archaeologists of the ancient area of Aynak copper mine, presented comprehensive information related to the construction works and programs of the Aga Khan Cultural Section in this area and assured that they would not hesitate in the regularity and speed of these works.
Mr. Samim thanked the cultural department of the Aga Khan Organization for the protection of the ancient places and stupas of Aynak copper mine and assured that the protection of historical places and ancient areas is important and are among the top priorities of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
