Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwa: Historical Heritage is the Shared Legacy of Nations

On Wednesday, the 8th of Rajab, 1446 the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaj Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwa, met with the European Union’s new Chargé d’Affaires, Ms. Boskovic Puhar Veronika, and her accompanying delegation in his office.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the preservation of cultural heritage, the importance of these historical treasures, and raising public awareness about their value. The Minister expressed gratitude for the European Union’s cooperation in safeguarding cultural heritage and called for enhanced collaboration in this regard.

Mr. Khairkhwa emphasized that the preservation of cultural heritage is not exclusively the responsibility of Afghans but a shared duty of all nations worldwide, urging comprehensive support for Afghanistan in this area.

In conclusion, the EU Chargé d’Affaires, Ms. Boskovic Puhar Veronika, assured Afghanistan of the European Union’s continued and comprehensive support in preserving its cultural heritage.
