Mawlavi Safiullah Raed, Director of Information and Culture of Bamiyan province, together with some employees of this department, visited and supervised the reconstruction process of the ancient city of Zhahak.
The reconstruction work of this ancient city started about two months ago, and during their visit they gave necessary instructions to the engineers working in the area.
During the inspection and visit of this project, Mr. Raed said; “Such projects are very important and valuable for the protection of the historical areas and monuments of Bamyan.”
According to Mr. Raed; “The Department of Information and Culture of Bamiyan province is trying to convince the institutions that work in the field of antiquities protection to work for the restoration and protection of the historical sites of this province.”
