On Tuesday (12 Dhul-Qa'dah 1445), Maulvi Habibullah Mujahid, Head of Information and Culture of Maidan Wardag Province, Maulvi Muhammad Idris, Head of Agriculture and Irrigation, and an accompanying delegation visited Zarghun Ancient Fort in Qarq District.

Zarghun Kala, located in the tourist and entertainment area of Maidan Wardag, Qariq District, has a historical antiquity of 250 years.

the head of the Department of the Ministry of Information and Culture Maulvi Habibullah Mujahid stated: "We want to record and register those historical areas and historical monuments that were built a hundred years ago and restore them with the help of the Ministry of Information and Culture." Residents of the area, who call themselves Baba Zarghun's descendants, claim that Baba Zarghun Khan built Zarghun Kala 250 years ago.

According to officials of the Department of Information and Culture, there are 76 historical sites in Maidan Wardag province, 48 of which have been officially registered with the Ministry of Information and Culture.
