A coordination meeting was held with media officials and spokespersons in the Paktia zone

"On Monday (1 Safar 1446), a coordination meeting was held with media officials of the Paktia zone and spokespeople of emirate agencies on the initiative of the Department of Access to Information related to the Ministry of Information and Culture. 

The event was attended by Mawlavi Qudratullah Jamal, the Deputy Minister of Finance, Tourism, and Administrative Affairs of the Ministry of Information and Culture; Mr. Ziaul Haq Haqmal, acting deputy Minister of Broadcasting affairs; Mawlavi Rahmatullah Nariwal, Head of Access to Information; the President of Paktia University; the Head of Paktia Provincial Office; media representatives; spokespersons of Emirate agencies; and many other officials. 

Mawlavi Rahmatullah Nariwal, the head of Access to Information, assured the media officials that their problems in the field of access to information would be addressed. 

Mr. Zia ul Haq Haqmal mentioned in his speech that the media has a positive effect on the minds of the people and emphasized the responsibility of the media to create positive programs to create a positive perspective of the public against the propaganda of Western media. He also highlighted the responsibility of the media in working for unity among Muslims, especially Afghans. 

Deputy Minister Mawlavi Qudratullah Jamal suggested holding coordination meetings with media and emirate agency spokespersons in all zones and recommended sharing positive suggestions and giving extensive news coverage to the economic news of the country to keep the tired nation happy.

The meeting concluded with Mr. Haqmal answering questions and addressing the problems of the media officials, followed by a closing prayer."
