China contributes to the protection of historical and ancient areas of Afghanistan

The Deputy Minister of Information and Culture of China, Mr. Li Kun, and his delegation made a special trip to Kabul, where they met with Moulvi Atiqullah Azizi, the Deputy Minister of Art and Culture of the Ministry of Information and Culture.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the economic, political, and cultural relations between China and Afghanistan, as well as the country's historical artifacts, the national museum, the preservation of historical monuments in Miss Aynak, and other topics.
Moulavi Atiqullah Azizi, Deputy Minister of Art and Culture of the Ministry of Information and Culture, highlighted the long-standing historical and cultural relations between Afghanistan and China, spanning over two thousand years. He also expressed the nation's eagerness to restore its historical sites, called it a big chance after five decades of war and instability to restore the historical sites, and sought support from China in preserving its historical areas.
China's Vice President of Cultural Affairs, Mr. Li Kun, emphasized the common historical and cultural ties between China and Afghanistan. He assured that the Chinese government, in collaboration with the Islamic Emirate, is fully prepared for the preservation and restoration of Afghanistan's historic sites.
