Afghan Art Day was celebrated by the Department of Information and Culture in Khost.
In the beginning, Alhaj Shabir Ahmad Osmani, the Director of Information and Culture, while welcoming, said about Afghan Art; “Afghan artists draw their thoughts and feelings beautifully and present them to us.”
He called on the artists to present their rich Afghan art in a good way to the young generation.
Sheikh Zayed University Professor Farooq Jan Mangal praised this initiative by the Department of Information and Culture and requested the creation of other similar programs.
Later, Noorshah Noorani, head of Istiqlal Literary Association, said about art; “Art is not only in words; Rather, art creates artists in various forms such as calligraphy, painting, painting and sculpture.” He also requested to extend such artistic programs to the districts.
