A Presentation of the Works Done in Miss Aynak was presented to the Deputy Minister of Art and Culture

Aga Khan Cultural Institute's Archeology Professor Erwin Amrling presented his work on consolidating, preserving and transferring historical artifacts to Moulvi Atiqullah Azizi, Deputy Minister of Art and Culture.
In this regard, Mr. Merlin added that he tried his best to save the artifacts that were under serious threat of destruction, to prepare a large number of artifacts for transfer to the National Museum.
Also, Erwin Amarling showed the participants of the meeting the technical operations that he had done to strengthen the historical artifacts of Mis Aynak.
Officials of the National Museum, Archeology and Historic Sites Protection Departments also participated in the meeting.
  Officials of the Aga Khan Cultural Organization listened to the questions and ideas of Afghan archaeologists and promised to implement them.
Moulvi Atiqullah Azizi, Deputy Minister of Art and Culture, said; “Preservation of Mis Aynak's relics is a great achievement for the preservation of the historical status of the country,” in this regard, he requested for the early transfer of these relics in a professional manner.
It is worth mentioning that in the meeting, prayers were also offered for the martyrs of Herat province and sadness was expressed about the damage to the historical areas.
