The Minister of Information and Culture met with the Ambassador of Japan

On Thursday (25 Safar al-Muzaffar 1446), Minister of Information and Culture Alhaj Mullah Khairullah Khairkhah met with the Ambassador of Japan, Mr. Takayoshi Kuromiya, in his office.
 
During the meeting, the ambassador of Japan praised the Islamic Emirate's success in combating drugs and corruption and ensuring security. And added that Japan pledged a $10 million donation for alternative crops and drug addiction treatment. Additionally, the Japanese government has donated $300,000 to the National Museum of Cultural Heritage for the protection of ancient monuments to be managed by UNESCO.
 
Mr. Khairkhah, while welcoming the ambassador, expressed gratitude for Japan's assistance in the fight against narcotics and cultural heritage protection, emphasizing the significant progress of the country over the past 40 years.
 
At the end of the metting, the Japanese ambassador emphasized the importance of bilateral cooperation in protecting cultural heritage and jointly fighting against drugs.
