"The deputy minister of art and culture visited the historic city  Zihak.

 
"The deputy minister of art and culture, Mawalvi Atiq Ullah Azizi, accompanied by the director of information and culture, Mawlawi Safi Ullah Raied, visited the historical Zihak City during a trip to Bamyan province.
 
Mr. Azizi stated that the purpose of his visit to Bamyan Province and Zihak City is the maintenance and survey of the historical minaret and other historical points. He emphasized the importance of protecting and maintaining Bamyan's historical sites and monuments and mentioned it as a mutual duty.
 
The director of information and culture mentioned the historical background of Zihak city and stated that the Ministry of Information and Culture, in coordination with Unesco, plans to build the 3rd phase of protective walls, minarets, water channels, and footpaths in the historical city of Zihak.
 
Additionally, during the visit to historical Bamyan, the director of information and culture urged the 012 group of police to protect and monitor historical points and control illegal construction in the area.
