A Commission to Celebrate National and Historical Days was Established in Faryab Province 

Yesterday, under the leadership of the Department of Information and Culture in Faryab Province, and with the participation of the Provincial Authority, Ershad, Hajj and Awqaf, University, Education, Municipality, National Radio and Television, Sports and Physical Training Managements and a number of other institutions, the National And Historical Celebration Day Commission was formed.
The first meeting of the said commission was held under the chairmanship of the Director of Information and Culture, Maulvi Shamsuddin Mohammadi, in which proposals were shared to celebrate the (26th of Salvagh), which is the date of the withdrawal and defeat of the former Soviet Union from Afghanistan.
Mr. Mohammadi said: “Celebrating the (26th of Salwagh) is in the work priority of this commission, so that this national and historical day can be celebrated in a good way.
