Coordination Meeting Held in Daikundi to Clarify the Noble Decree of the Esteemed Amir al-Mu’minin (May Allah Preserve Him)

The Department of Information and Culture of Daikundi Province convened a coordination meeting with media officials and journalists to discuss and clarify the 17th decree issued by the Esteemed Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah preserve him), which focuses on eliminating harmful cultural practices and preventing unnecessary expenditures.

During the meeting, the Director of Information and Culture, Qari Agha Wali Qureshi, provided an in-depth explanation of the negative impact of certain traditions, particularly extravagant wedding ceremonies, condolence gatherings, and celebrations held upon returning from Hajj and Umrah.

He emphasized the crucial role of the media in raising public awareness and called on media representatives to produce consistent and informative content regarding the decree. The goal is to foster a cultural shift in society, reducing the prevalence of such harmful customs.
