“Uzbeki is the Language of our Communication & Connection,” President Ghani

 

President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani participated and delivered speech in a ceremony held yesterday on the occasion of National Day for Uzbeki Language at Salam Khana Palace.
In the ceremony attended by First Vice President Amrullah Salih, Senate’s Speaker Fazil Hadi Muslimyar, lawmakers, deputy premier of Uzbekistan and the country’s writers and cultural figures, Ustad Azizullah Ural first by thanking President Ghani for naming the 29th of Mizan as National Day for Uzbeki Language congratulated the day to all participants in the ceremony.
Pointing to importance and comprehensively usage of language, Ustad Ural suggested if ministry of education could publish and print Uzbeki books, ministry of higher education could process documents of a number of students who have returned from Uzbekistan and air as well as telecommunication companies could pay attention to broadcasting and producing advertisements in Uzbeki language.
Afterwards, Uzbek’s deputy Prime Minister Sardar Omar Zaqov read out message of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. In his message, the Uzbek President has congratulated Afghanistan National Day for Uzbeki Language to all.
“We’ve provided the opportunity to 200 Afghan students in Uzbekistan’s Termez city to receive Uzbeki literature, railway and other fields and considered it as continued program for Afghans,” Uzbek President said in his message.
In his message, the Uzbek President has assured of overall cooperation with Afghanistan government in security, peace, trade and economic and declared his support from Afghanistan peace efforts and development programs. 
Afterwards, President Ghani spoke and by congratulating the National Day for Uzbeki Language to all said his goal was to implement the 16th article of the country’s constitution and the law has clarified everything for them.
“It is an honor that Uzbek President not only passed his message to us but dispatched a representative to Afghanistan. After a hundred year break and the catastrophic period of Stalin, today Afghanistan and Uzbekistan have close relations and the friendship will continue forever,” President Ghani said.
Pointing to historic and cultural relations between Afghanistan and Central Asian countries, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani said their relations were strengthening day by day, which was significant for the stability and tranquility of the people of Afghanistan and Central Asian countries. 
“The Uzbeki is the language of our communication and connection and Afghanistan is lucky as its each language is a connecting language,” President Ghani said, stressing that strengthening each language of the country help strengthen national unity among the people.
The country’s President by offering condolence to the people of Helmand and Ghor provinces on recent incidents in which dozens of innocent Afghans have been martyred and wounded, saying that they were representing the stability and unity.
