Regular Meeting of the Book Evaluation Commission Held

On Monday (26th of Shawwal al-Mukarram 1447 AH) a regular meeting of the Book Evaluation Commission was held under the Deputy Ministry for Publications Affairs of the Ministry of Information and Culture.

The session opened with the Commission’s Secretary presenting a report on the previous meeting. The Commission’s recent activities and achievements were reviewed and positively acknowledged.

During the meeting, members reached decisions on several submitted books. Works found to be aligned with Islamic and Afghan values were approved for publication. The Commission also reviewed 182 volumes across 21 different titles of imported and exported books, taking the necessary decisions in each case. In addition, several educational publications associated with the United Nations (UNFAO) were examined and formally approved.

Furthermore, seven books that required further review were assigned to Commission members, who will present their findings at the next session.
