Roads Should Be Named Based On Related City, Region’s Culture, Prof. Bawari

Kabul (BNA) Presided over by Acting Minister of Information and Culture Prof. Mohammad Rassoul Bawari, Roads’ Naming Commission held meeting on Monday, Bakhtar News Agency (BNA) reported.
During the meeting,  Acting MoIC Bawari said, “Roads should be named based on related city and region’s culture and tradition and the names that are common among local people should be protected,” according to BNA.
He added a list of cultural, historical and literature figures should be provided based on which the roads should be named, the agency added.  Likewise, according to agenda, the meeting discussed naming of roads and the commission members shared their suggestions and views in this regard, BNA went on to say.  The meeting decided that a work committee should be established to arrange the list of cultural and historical figures and start its work in the respect.
