Historical Slides Submitted To MoIC

Kabul (BNA) A number of the country’s natural landscapes’ historical slides was submitted by the honorary Afghan cultural attaché in London, to the ministry of information and culture in Kabul, a statement from the ministry said Monday.
During the handover meeting which was held here in Kabul at the ministry of information and culture, Afghan cultural attaché, Wahid Parwanta said the slides included historical pictures from the country’s various areas, which have been taken by an English photographer who was working as project manager for the Afghan Management Institute within the then ministry of mines and industries, in 1970.
According to him, the slides were given as a gift to him, by the photographer family, but he submitted them to the ministry of information and culture for well protection, the statement said.
The acting and nominee minister of information and culture,, Hasina Safi thanked him for his cooperation to submit the slides to the ministry, the statement quoted.
