Cultural Exhibitions Playing Valuable Role In Expansion Of Friendly Relations, Safi

Kabul (BNA) Acting minister of information and culture Hasina Safi in a meeting yesterday with Chinese ambassador to Kabul Liu Jinsong stressed on expansion of cultural cooperation between Afghanistan and China. In the meeting attended also by director of national museum Mohammad Fahim Rahimi, expansion of cultural cooperation between the two countries was discussed. Chinese ambassador to Kabul by recalling holding the Bakhtar treasury exhibition in China and welcoming of his people from the exhibition stressed on launching Mes-e-Aynak relics’ exhibition in China and signing of a MoU with Dunhuang Academy in near future for preservation of Afghanistan cultural heritages. Meanwhile, Chinese ambassador to Kabul also considered signing of a MoU between Bakhtar News Agency and Xinhua News Agency as positive step towards expansion of media and cultural cooperation between the two countries. Praising China for cooperation with Afghanistan in various fields’ in particular cultural affairs, acting minister of information and culture Hasina Safi insisted on further expansion of cultural cooperation between the two countries. Acting minister of information and culture also asserted that holding cultural relics’ exhibitions could play valuable role in further consolidation of friendly relations between the two countries.
