Attention to Historic, Cultural Heritages in MoIC’s Priority, Minister Safi

Kabul (BNA) Acting minister of information and culture Hasina Safi in a meeting with provincial director of information and culture for Daikundi discussed problems and cultural situation of the province.
In the meeting attended by provincial director of information and culture of the province Mohammad Hussain Seerat, a number of youth and officials of the province’s civil society and cultural organizations, a range of problems and demands in the field of cultural section were shared with acting minister of information and culture.
Briefing related to cultural situation of the province, they asked for attention to renovation of historic monuments, construction of a cultural complex building, research for differentiation of historical monuments from historic sites, appointment of women based on 30 percent part within directorate of information and culture in Daikundi and attention to youths.  After hearing their demands and problems regarding cultural situation in Daikundi, Hasina Safi spoke related to programs of the ministry of information and culture and added that one of key tasks of the ministry was to pay attentions to the country’s historic and cultural heritages.  Acting minister of information and culture asserted that in consideration to the ministry’s possibilities, necessary steps would be taken to address problems and demands shared in particular in the field of cultural and youth affairs.
