Women Handicrafts Exhibition Held

Kabul (BNA)  To mark Mother’s day, the ministry of information and culture inaugurated a ‘women Handicrafts Exhibition’ in Kabul on Sunday, BNA reported.
During the inauguration ceremony held in Temor Shahi Park, Deputy Minister of Information and Culture on Finance, Administrative and Tourism Affairs Sayeda Mojgan Mostafavi spoke about mothers’ economic independence role in the families and society, saying with organizing such programs, her office is making effort to prepare the ground for marketing of female entrepreneurs’ handicrafts in and abroad, the agency added.
Likewise, she reported about holding three international fairs in Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Iran in near future.  To improve economy of 2000 female entrepreneurs whom have already been registered, deputy ministry of information and culture on Finance, administrative and tourism affairs holds such exhibitions five or six times each year, BNA continued.  During the exhibition, mothers’ handicrafts will put into display and for sale in 75 booths for three days.
