Young Authors Appreciated

The country’s deputy ministry of information and culture and Fanoos Magazine have jointly launched a competition to mark the Youth International Day, during which ten young elite writers have won eligible score of appreciation, BNA reported the other day.
Up to 186 youth have attended the competition titled, The Youth and Extremism’ among them ten elite writers won top scores, said the agency.  Manizha Ramzi one of the organizers said these ten young authors have won the eligible scores of appreciation and award, according to the agency.
Meantime, Dr. Kamal Sadat deputy to the youth affairs of the ministry of information and culture said: “at present time extremism has overwhelmed the country and writing essays would help the youth get awareness about the challenge. “He said the youth could play key role in besieging the public minds and they should spare no efforts in this field.
Behishta Rahmani, one of the winners of top scores pointed to what she said the main elements of driving the youths to extremism and enumerated economic and political problems and injustice were among the factors behind outspread of extremism in the country and that any move to investigate into the main factors would help reduce the vicious phenomenon.
